six [6] month training period for the position of Compliance Analyst in our Group Compliance Unit has become available.

Job Summary

To achieve individual loan targets and ensure that all the loan and administrative duties are executed in a timely and efficient manner, according to the company's policies and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Loan Production & Processing – All related functions

    • Market and Promote consumer loans in line with individual & team loan targets – This involves employing all established marketing approaches inclusive of Online loan request follow-up, Walk-in client attendance, After sales service communication, Branch and Unit meeting presentations and other Approved mediums.
    • Complete Loan Applications
    • Register Loan Applications on Online System
    • Liaise with client/financial advisor/team member for additional information
    • Review loans and provide detailed recommendation
    • Prepare Loan Documents
    • Review and provide feedback to clients for Online Loan Requests
    • Provide feedback within 24 hours for all loan requests
    • Liaise with Employers to have Salary Deductions acknowledged
    • Prepare all correspondence relative to loan queries, balances, other information

2. Loan Disbursement:-

  • Register Loan Applications on Disbursement register
  • Prepare Loan Vouchers
  • Follow-Up to ensure timely return of files

3. Data Entry & Filing :-

  • Generate client account and update all client details on system
  • Enter vouchers and journals on system
  • Prepare Loan Files before disbursement & Label file and place in designated area

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare receipts for Incoming Payments
  • Data Entry – All Payments
  • Perform other job-related duties and functions that may be required from time to time

Qualifications

Education

Minimum 5 CXC O'Level passes inclusive of Grade 1 or 2  in Mathematics and English A and

6 CAPE passes or an equivalent diploma or professional certificate

A first degree in a related field would be an asset

Experience

Minimum two (2) years in Financial Services Industry

Industry Experience would be an asset
